The Horizon Collection by Brazilian architect João Armentano is inspired by the interplay of scale, geometry, and the play of light vs shadow. The sinks in this collection are low and long with a minimalist profile recalling the horizon over calm water. The linear theme is continued in the basin where water flows over a flat or sloped surface to an elegantly concealed drain. Drawing on his background in architecture, Mr. Armentano applied special effort to maximize practicality in the collection. Basins remain wide to prevent splashing while expansive surface areas serve as easy-to-clean stages for daily toiletries.
