Authentic Luxury, Crafted With Purpose Since 1984

Every Cheviot product is thoughtfully made, responsibly sourced, and built to stand the test of time.

Our Story

For over four decades, Cheviot has quietly built a reputation for enduring design—rooted in craftsmanship, honest materials, and a belief that the objects we use every day should be made to last.

Our Values

Behind every Cheviot product is a network of skilled craftspeople whose expertise has been developed over generations. We believe that exceptional products can only come from those who are respected, supported, and empowered in their work. We partner with manufacturers who prioritize fair wages, safe working conditions, and ongoing training. These are not anonymous production lines—they are communities of artisans who take pride in their craft. Their knowledge, care, and attention to detail are evident in every curve, finish, and surface we offer. By investing in people, we ensure not only the quality of our products, but also the preservation of traditional craftsmanship in a modern world.

True luxury is built to last. That’s why we are uncompromising in our selection of materials—choosing only those that offer durability, performance, and long-term value. We use premium materials such as high-quality cast iron and fireclay, selected for their strength, resilience, and timeless appeal. Our cast iron tubs are finished with titanium dioxide enamel for a smooth, durable surface that resists wear and maintains its beauty over time. Our fireclay sinks are naturally hygienic, easy to clean, and resistant to bacteria and staining. These material choices are not just about aesthetics—they are about creating products that perform exceptionally well for decades, reducing the need for replacement and enhancing the everyday experience of the end user.

Where a product is made matters. At Cheviot, we intentionally source our products from regions with deep, established expertise in their respective materials and manufacturing processes. Our cast iron bathtubs are produced in Europe, where centuries of metalworking tradition continue to inform modern techniques. Our fireclay products are crafted in facilities with a long-standing heritage in ceramic production. These are places where craftsmanship is not just a job—it is part of the cultural fabric. By aligning each product with the place best suited to produce it, we ensure authenticity, consistency, and a level of quality that cannot be replicated through convenience manufacturing.

Luxury should not come at the expense of the planet. We are committed to working with partners who meet high environmental standards and operate under strict regulatory oversight. Our manufacturing partners are located in regions where environmental responsibility is enforced through rigorous policies and regular audits. This ensures that energy use, emissions, and waste management are handled responsibly throughout the production process. By choosing to manufacture in these environments, we minimize our ecological footprint while maintaining the highest level of product integrity. Sustainability, for us, is not a marketing claim—it is an operational standard.

At Cheviot, our approach to luxury is grounded in substance, not superficiality. We believe true luxury is defined not only by how a product looks, but by how it is made, where it comes from, and the impact it leaves behind. This philosophy is embodied in our four pillars of Authentic Luxury: People, Place, Materials, and Environment. Together, they guide every decision we make and every product we bring to life.
